My interest in a vegetarian lifestyle stems from my childhood experience living in Africa where I lived more in commune with my environment and respecting the animals around me. While pursuing my MBA in Canada and doing consulting work with non-profits organizations, I realized that going forward with my life meant marriyng my personal beliefs with my entrepreneurial spirit. As a result Vegetarian Wellness was borne.
I decided to start the blog because I felt I made some mistakes in my vitamin and food choices as I initially went forward becoming a vegetarian over 15 years ago. Vegetarian Wellness was built mainly to help fellow vegetarians make good choices with vitamins, supplements and foods that are vegetarian safe. I also had to learn a lot about nutrition and what vitamins are most important when you have a vegetarian diet. My goal is to make it easier for vegetarians with different restrictions to meet their dietary needs. I blog to share information and insights to help fellow vegetarians live better and healthier lives. I am committed to exploring various vegetarian dietary issues for Vegetarian Wellness.
