About Us

In a nutshell, we are dedicated to helping vegetarians and vegans live healthier lives. Vegetarian Wellness was borne out of necessity. As vegetarians we found that while local health food and specialty stores carried some vegetarian products, the staff usually had little or no knowledge about what products are vegetarian safe, what meets our dietary restrictions and what supplements are important to our diets.

We feel that through education and providing high quality vegetarian suitable products, we can help vegetarians live better. Many vitamin and health supplements are not vegetarian or vegan safe. Products can contain animal derived ingredients or have capsules or coatings that are made of bovine or other animal products. We have done the research and worked with manufacturers to identify what products are vegetarian and vegan safe and we carry high quality reputable manufacturers.

Our goal is to provide an easy to use vegetarian focused shopping experience. We have done the legwork to bring vegetarian friendly information to the forefront and identified what products are safe. We are Southern California based with warehouses in California and Pennsylvania. There are over 500 vegetarian and vegan vitamins and health supplements in our stock and we look to continue to find ways to help vegetarians and vegans live healthier lives.
