Are the products sold on this site vegetarian safe?
We have worked with the vitamin and supplement manufacturers to identify what products are vegetarian and vegan safe. The products carried are what the manufacturers ensure as vegetarian and vegan safe products.

The five icons listed act as a legend or key. For each product on the site we will use one or more of these icons to designate qualities the product possess. These icons will help you quickly identify the qualities we feel might be important to you.

How do you define lacto-ovo vegetarian?
Lacto-ovo vegetarians are people who restrict any meat from their diet but do consume dairy and egg products.
What is the definition of vegan?
The vegan diet is one of the more strict forms of vegetarianism. The diet excludes any meats or animal byproducts from their diet.
Carbon offsets is a method we use to offset the pollution created by shipping products to our customers and running our business. While we strive to be as green as possible, some practices will cause pollution (such as shipping packages to customers). For any pollution we create through the use of shipping packages to running our website and other practices, we work with non-profit charities to offset these actions. Methods used to offset pollution range from planting trees, to green energy projects such as wind, solar and renewable energies. Vegetarian Wellness pays a fee to fund such projects as a way of being socially responsible.
Does Vegetarian Wellness use environmentally friendly packaging?
We make our best effort to use environmentally friendly packaging and materials. We also utilize services such as carbon offsetting to offset any pollution caused by the transportation of shipped goods. Such offset projects include planting of trees, investments in alternative (solar, wind) power to negate any carbon emissions created throughout the shipping process.

Is my credit card information safe?
Yes, we use Secure Socket Layer technology to prevent unauthorized people from intercepting your credit card information. More information can be found by visiting our privacy policy.
Ordering and Shipping
What kinds of payments do you accept?
We only accept credit card payments. Credit cards we accept include, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Will I be charged sales tax and if so at what rate?
Only California residents will be charged sales tax of 8.75% on orders. All other states will not be charged a sales tax through Vegetarian Wellness.
Once an order is submitted, our fulfillment and shipping process makes cancellations not possible.

Does Vegetarian Wellness accept orders outside of the United States?
At this time unfortunately we do not accept any international orders. We only ship within the continental United States, although we hope in the near future to be able accommodate international customers.
Does Vegetarian Wellness ship to P.O Boxes, APO, FPO or DPO addresses?
No. At this time we do not ship to P.O boxes, APO, FPO or DPO addresses.
Will Vegetarian Wellness Notify me when my order has been shipped?
Yes, you will be notified via email when your order has been shipped.
Any order made over $99 dollars qualifies for free ground shipping. Otherwise Vegetarian Wellness ships on a flat fee basis. Regardless of the number of items or weight of your items you will be charged a flat rate. Fees will vary depending on the shipping method you select. Below is a breakdown of the various flat rate costs:
- Ground Shipping: $5.99
- Three-Day Shipping: $12.00
- Two-Day Shipping: $20.00
- One-Day Shipping: $28.00
We would also like to let you know that our shipping includes carbon offsets at no additional charge.
Return Policy
What is the Vegetarian Wellness return policy?
Items purchased from Vegetarian Wellness may be returned within 15 days of receipt of purchase. Customers must fill out the return form and are responsible for the cost of return shipping. The returned item must be received within the 15-day period to receive a refund. Items returned must have a valid quality reason, and include the original packaging and suitable condition. Vegetarian Wellness reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject any orders that do not comply with its requirements. For more details please visit our return policy.
In the event I receive a wrong item what should I do?
If you receive a wrong item please contact us by using the contact us form. Within three days of receiving your order, please let us know your name, order number and the incorrect item of issue. We will investigate the issue and contact you as soon as possible.
